Physical Therapist – Part Time (20-25 hours per week in accordance with Broward County Public School Calendar) $50/hour Arc Broward is looking for a Physical Therapist for our 3–5 year-old students with special needs Essential Job Functions/Duties The physical Therapist is responsible for provision of quality physical therapy services including:

assessment, therapeutic treatment planning and service delivery using best practice treatment modalities for children to facilitate age-appropriate independence in gross motor coordination, balance, strengthening activities, and motor planning activities
developing and implementing individualized treatment plans and monitoring the progress of each child through analysis of data and making necessary modifications
evaluating physical and social environmental conditions for optimal function, learning, independence, health, and stability
demonstrating and modeling effective and therapeutic intervention strategies
providing coaching and consultation to staff for continuity and generalization across settings
collaborating with all members of the team
assessing, recommending, and ensuring that children are provided with proper adaptive equipment

What are the requirements?

Physical therapy degree from accredited university and state PT license.
