An outpatient clinic and youth crisis center is seeking a psychiatric nurse practitioner for locum tenens coverage treating all ages.
While in Boston, Massachusetts, you have the opportunity to see one of the most historic cities in the United States. In between all the tours and famous sites, take a trip to Fenway Park or get some seafood at any of the downtown spots like the Union Oyster House which is one of the oldest restaurants still in operation today in the United States.
The schedule is 40 hours per week. The clinician will be working with the SMI population and will need experience with substance use treatment and suboxone. The average number of patients per day is 10 - 20. The clinic is appointment only unless the patient needs urgent access. Initial evaluations are 45 - 60 minutes, and med checks/FU are 20 - 30 minutes. The facility wants a clinician who has prescribing experience with psychiatric populations and holds PMHCNP, PMHNP, PMHCNS, or PCNS credentials valid in Massachusetts. Quick credentialing.
