Post Anesthesia Care RN (Specialty 1 to 4 FTE) Required Duties include:Assume a patient care assignment for a group of patientsAssessment and care of patients with a wide range of physical and psychological diagnoses and with a wide range of treatment modalitiesCare of patients requiring special precautions such as isolationInserting and maintenance of peripheral linesMaintaining central lines for administration of intravenous fluidProviding emergency care as indicatedAdministration of medications (oral, subcutaneous, intramuscular and intravenously) and blood productsVerification of physician ordersComplete and accurate documentation of care according to facility/unit policiesPhlebotomy and bedside testing Psychological support of patients as indicatedComplex wound dressing care and maintenance
