We are seeking a Certified Medical Assistant or Licensed Practical Nurse in
Wausau, Wisconsin at
Aspirus Family Physicians. The Certified Medical Assistant assists in the delivery of primary health care including maintenance of clinical record/documentation. Performs a wide variety of patient care activities and accommodative services for medical staff. Requires strong communication and interpersonal skills, excellent organizational skills, excellent word processing skills, careful attention to detail, the ability to work as a team player, and the capability to perform multiple tasks in a fast-paced and occasional stressful environment.
PROFESSIONAL EXPERIENCE/QUALIFICATIONS - Knowledge of patient care standards and practices normally acquired through graduation from an accredited MA program or three years equivalence in medical background and experience.
- Current Medical Assistant Certification or Registration required or must be obtained within six months of hire OR State of Wisconsin current LPN license
- Current CPR certification or obtained within 90 days of hire.
