A Federally Qualified Health System in the beautiful Katahdin Valley Maine is hiring a full time Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant to join their team.

Overview: The Nurse Practitioner/Physician Assistant will provide quality health care and treatment to patients. Health care includes: health promotions; prevention of disease and disability; identification of health problems; management of health problems; and referral with communication to the patient's primary care provider. The Nurse Practitioner/Physician Assistant will practice medicine within the scope of their licensure and if applicable, under the Supervision of a Physician.

Minimum Requirements:
-Graduation from a NLN accredited Nurse Practitioner program, MSN preferred.
-Certification by an approved organization according to the Maine State Board of Nursing.
-Graduation from an accredited Physician Assistant's program.
-Certification from the National Commission on Certification of Physician Assistants.
-Current Maine State Licensure.
-Requires current CPR and ACLS.

Competitive BENEFITS and Compensation:

Facility pays 100% of the Health Insurance Premium and 80% of dependent coverage for salaried employees. Dental Insurance Benefit at company Dental Center, Accrued 3 weeks of Paid Vacation year one and accrued 4 weeks of paid vacation each year after, Accrued up to 40 hours of Paid Time Off (PTO) year one and accrued up to 88 hours of PTO annually thereafter, STD and LTD premium paid at 100% by company, Two times the salaried employee's annual salary in a Life Insurance Benefit at no cost to the employee with $300K cap, 10 Paid Holidays Annually, Education Reimbursement Opportunities, 401k plan available after one year of service, matches a total of 4% of your contribution (100% of the first 3% of the employee's salary and 50% of the next 2% of the employees' salary)
