PositionDescription
The Clinical Nurse Coordinator (CNC) ensures anddelivers high quality, patient-centered care and coordination of all functionsin the unit/department during the designated shift. In collaboration with othermembers of the management team, the CNC directs, monitors, and evaluatesnursing care in accordance with established policies/procedures, serves as aresource person for staff, and models a commitment to the organizationsvision/mission/values to support an unparalleled patient experience andclinical outcomes that contribute to overall departmental performance.
Qualifications
- FL RN Licensure, or
- Recognized Compact Licensure (subject to Florida State Licensing Requirements, including/not limited to ongoing eligibility and duration provisions)
- Graduate of an accredited school of professional nursing preferred.
- BSN preferred
- Current BLS & ACLS Certifications (American Heart Association or American Red Cross)
- 1+ years of RN experience in a Critical Care environment.
- Ability to perform Administrative duties as assigned.
- Previous charge nurse experience preferred.
- Customer service abilities including effective listening skills.
