Unit Description: The Emergency Department is fully equipped to handle urgent and critical emergencies, including multiple trauma cases; cardiac, neurological and pediatric emergencies; orthopedic injuries; obstetrical and gynecological cases; and other emergencies.
Physicians in 20 specialties and sub-specialties readily available, residents from throughout the region are assured access to comprehensive emergency healthcare 24-hours-a-day, seven-days-a-week.
Position Summary: TheChargeRN Emergency Servicessupervises nursing service activities in assigned nursing unit for the duration of the assigned shift or in the absence of nursing management.
Desired skills: Minimum of 2 years of recent Emergency Services experience required. Previous Charge responsibilities highly desired.Provide professional nursing care to patients utilizing the nursing process. To collaborate with other members of the health care delivery team including physicians, to deliver quality health care.

Qualifications
Education:
Nursing Diploma or ASN; BSN preferred.
Experience:
Minimum 1 year RN experience in emergency services required.
License/Certification/Skills:
Florida RN license and/or approved multistate RN license required.
Current American Heart Association Healthcare Provider (BLS certification).
Lifting 50 lbs. maximum with frequent lifting and/or carrying of objects weighing up to 25 lbs.
Critical thinking, service excellence and good interpersonal communication skills, ability to read/comprehend written instructions, ability to follow verbal instructions, PC skills.
