Unit Description: The Emergency Department is fully equipped to handle urgent and critical emergencies,including multiple trauma cases; cardiac, neurological and pediatricemergencies; orthopedic injuries; obstetrical and gynecological cases; andother emergencies.
Physiciansin 20 specialties and sub-specialties readily available, residents fromthroughout the region are assured access to comprehensive emergency healthcare24-hours-a-day, seven-days-a-week.
Position Summary: TheChargeRN Emergency Servicessupervises nursing service activities in assigned nursing unit for the duration of the assigned shift or in the absence of nursing management.

Qualifications
Education:
Nursing Diploma or ASN; BSN preferred.
Experience:
Minimum 1 year RN experience in acute care setting preferred.
License/Certification/Skills:
Florida RN license and/or approved multistate RNlicense required.
Current American Heart Association Healthcare Provider (BLS certification).
Lifting 50 lbs. maximum with frequent lifting and/or carrying of objects weighing up to 25 lbs.
Critical thinking, service excellence and good interpersonal communication skills, ability to read/comprehend written instructions, ability to follow verbal instructions, PC skills.
