We are seeking a Float Pool OR Nurse for our ambulatory surgerycenters to ensure that we continue to provide all patients with high quality,efficient care. The Float Pool OR Nurse will contribute to the companysmission and vision by utilizing the nursing process in planning, executing, andevaluating the nursing care given to the surgical patient during theintra-operative period.

Whatyou will do in this role:

Rotateto other ambulatory surgery center facilities
Demonstrateknowledge of surgical procedures and have the ability to oversee the instrumentand equipment set-up, prepare for the case utilizing preference cards, andanticipates needs of surgeon
Coordinateand oversee the room during a case as the circulator
Facilitateeffective and efficient transition between surgical procedures
Utilizepreference cards and update as necessary
Relayappropriate hand off communication to PACU staff to ensure continuity of care

Qualifications

Qualifications you will need:

Nursing Diploma
Minimum 2 years experience in anoperating room setting; preferably in an ambulatory surgery center
Active RN license as required bystate of employment or appropriate compact licensure
Valid BCLS, ACLS & PALSCertifications required upon employment (Must be through American HeartAssociation, online certification not acceptable)
