Position Details:Main Office location: Westwood, MAJob Type: Full Time Responsibilities:- Coordinate and supervise all direct and indirect patient services provided by clinical personnel in the organization.- Offer guidance and counseling to coordinators and Clinical Supervisors, assisting them in continually enhancing hospice care services provided by the organization's personnel.- Assist clinical personnel in assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation of patient and family/caregiver care.- Interpret operational indicators to detect census changes and volume fluctuations that could impact staffing levels, revenues, or expenses.- Collaborate with Human Resources to hire, evaluate, and terminate organization personnel.- Conduct annual evaluations of clinicians, or more frequently as required.- Oversee the maintenance of patient clinical records, statistics, reports, and records to comply with local, state, and federal laws and regulations.- Responsible for maintaining adequate and appropriate inventory supplies and equipment for providing patient services.- Develop, implement, and evaluate orientation programs for new organization personnel. Plan and conduct in-service and continuing education programs to meet the needs of the team.- Assist in evaluating organizational performance through performance improvement programs, productivity, quarterly and annual reviews, ensuring the quality and safe delivery of hospice services.- Recommend and administer organization policies and procedures, while staying informed about changes in nursing and hospice care and sharing information with relevant personnel.- Actively promote hospice referrals in the healthcare community. Qualifications:- Registered nurse in the State of MA with current licensure to practice professional nursing in the state.- Bachelors degree in nursing from an accredited program by the National League for Nursing. - Maintain current BLS CPR certification.- Possess a valid driver's license and own a reliable, insured vehicle.
