As the nurse, you will be responsible for providing medical aid to employees and other personnel who become ill or are injured while on company property and will partner with the Nurse Practitioner in the A.O. Smith Wellness Clinic. ResponsibilitiesResponds to the scene of medical emergencies occurring on company property and administers first aid and/or medical care.Advises injured personnel concerning additional medical treatment, and accompanies the injured to a hospital or physicians' office when appropriate.Examines and advises personnel who become ill and dispenses medications as needed.Maintains an adequate inventory of appropriate medical supplies and takes actions to obtain new or replace old medical emergency equipment.Conducts the company CPR, first-aid, safety, and health programs.Prepares accident reports in coordination with the concerned supervisors or managers and maintains records of all personnel treated.Prepares reports regarding workers' compensation and maintains OSHA records concerning reportable illnesses and injuries.Maintains awareness of the latest industrial safety and industrial medical practices, evaluates these practices applicable to the company, and makes recommendations for their implementation.We OfferGreat people make our organization great and because of that, we offer an onsite A.
