The Ambulatory Surgery/ESRD Inspector/Investigator supports the agencys mission to protect and improve the health of people in the state of Washington by providing professional and technical clinical nursing expertise in conducting inspections and investigations in Ambulatory Surgery and End Stage Renal Dialysis facilities. Major duties include conducting onsite investigation and inspections by gathering evidence through staff, patient/family interviews, document review, and observation of the facility operations to include, but not limited to: surgical observations, sterilization practices and others. Documenting, organizing, and analyzing data to determine compliance with applicable rules and regulations and writing final reports which will be issued to the facility that includes either a recommendation for licensure or certification. This positions also assists customers with inquiries regarding compliance or other issues and assists with procedural quality improvement process.
