This position is located on the 25-acre main campus located in the historic Clinton Hill section of Brooklyn.Job responsibilities: Oversee health service administrative operations, and establish, review, and update policies and procedures to support staff and student needs. Supervise and manage direct reports including health care providers and administrative staff. Establish and/or maintain critical office systems and protocols, including document management systems and other systems required to improve efficiency, information sharing, and shared learning. Formulate, implement, and evaluate plans of care utilizing sound clinical judgment, based on assessments of physical, psychological, emotional, and environmental needs of students. Facilitate referral to outside collaborative care providers and specialists as appropriate. Emphasize a culture of high-quality service and best practices with the goal of improving program outcomes using evidence-based practices and QA/QI measures. Represent Health Services as a visible spokesperson, engage with colleagues throughout the university in order to identify and respond to the needs of students, and advocate for student health and wellness on campus. Engage in collaborative establishment of budget priorities and budget administration.
