POSITION PURPOSEThe Analyst in the Revenue Reporting department assists the Revenue Reporting Supervisor in completing monthly reports and ad hoc analyses for which the Revenue Reporting team is responsible. The Analyst aides the Revenue Reporting Supervisor in creating reports and gathering data; and is responsible for learning about the healthcare industry with a focus on accounts receivable and revenues, learning about the data warehouse and hindsight model, and learning how to use the various tools the team uses in creating reports.
RESPONSIBILITIES AND TASK- Meets position requirements and performs essential functions.
- Gathers data from various sources (data warehouse, GL, accounting, operations) to create reports.
- Verifies that reports were created accurately.
- Organizes, plans, and manages time effectively to complete assignments.
- Researches outstanding items with accountants, hospital management, ITG, etc.
- Completes special projects and other duties as requested to support needs of organization.
QualificationsQUALIFICATIONSLicense or Certification:
Minimum Qualifications:- Bachelor's degree in Finance or Accounting
- Healthcare accounting or financial analysis experience preferred, either in a consulting or corporate environment
- PeopleSoft and Hyperion experience is preferred but not required
- Excel experience preferred
