Perform diagnostics and therapeutic procedures focusing on coronary arteries. Prepare patients for procedures, prepare sterile field, drape patients following strict sterile techniques, transducer set ups. Be accountable and have knowledge of supplies (catheters, wires, balloons, stents) and other equipment involved to perform these complex procedures. Record and interpret data from highly specialized x-ray, infrared, mechanical, electrical, electronic, ultrasonic, and digital computerized systems. Calibration and operation of complex technical equipment for the invasive cardiac procedures. Ensure that the equipment is properly maintained and functioning properly. Participate in the review and updates of Cath Lab procedures and equipment guidelines. Perform other duties as assigned.
