Two hospitals are seeking a CRNA for locum tenens coverage.
Toledo is filled with museums, parks, breweries, a casino, and an aquarium. All of these are within the city limits and are easy to get to on car or public transit.
The first position involves working between two hospitals with a schedule of four 10-hour shifts, covering 7-8 ORs per day. Cases include general surgery, endoscopy, urology, ECTs, orthopedic, vascular, backs, cataracts, podiatry, and GYN, but not neurology, transplants, pediatrics, OB, thoracic, or cardiac. The team averages 30-35 cases daily, and the setting is supervised with autonomous practice. Credentialing takes 90 days, and there is no call.
The second position is at a Level 1 trauma center with 7 MDs and 19-21 CRNAs daily, operating with a 1:4 supervision ratio. Cases include GI, general surgery, OB/GYN, neuro, ortho, ophthalmology, plastics, podiatry, urology, and healthy pediatric cases or pediatric urology. There is no call, and the facility uses the Epic EMR system.
