ABOUT THE ROLE:
We are seeking a highly motivated and innovative individual to join our team as a Learning Management and Operations Coordinator. This role will be responsible for enhancing the effectiveness and efficiency of our Learning Management System (LMS), CAAP Learn, to facilitate asynchronous learning experiences. In addition, the Learning Management and Operations Coordinator will play a critical role in managing and optimizing operational workflows, ensuring smooth communication and coordination across various teams and outside stakeholders. This position requires a proactive individual with excellent communication skills, experience working in an LMS, and the ability to handle multiple tasks efficiently. This position will collaborate with team members, partners and educators to identify opportunities for improvement, implement enhancements, and provide ongoing support to ensure a seamless experience for our members and partners.
DUTIES & ACCOUNTABILITIES:
Learning Management System
LMS Analysis and Evaluation:
o Conduct thorough assessments of the current LMS infrastructure, functionalities, and user experience.
o Analyze user feedback, performance data, and industry best practices to identify areas for optimization.
Optimization Strategy Development:
o Develop and implement strategies to enhance the usability, accessibility, and functionality of the LMS.
o Collaborate with stakeholders to define goals and objectives for LMS optimization initiatives.
Content Organization and Management:
o Develop taxonomies, tagging systems, and content structures to improve the organization and accessibility of learning materials.
o Implement metadata standards and practices to enhance searchability and discoverability of content.
User Experience Enhancement:
o Work closely with instructional designers and content developers to improve the overall user experience within the LMS.
o Identify opportunities to streamline workflows, reduce friction points, and enhance engagement.
Technical Support and Troubleshooting:
o Serve as a subject matter expert for LMS-related technical issues and provide timely support to users.
o Collaborate with IT teams to troubleshoot system errors, performance issues, and integration challenges.
Assist in the regular facilitation of all learning and training and technical assistance projects as needed.
Operations
Survey Feedback Analysis
o Lead the review of training/technical assistance (t/ta) survey feedback, analyze data, and document recurring themes to identify potential training opportunities.
Process Auditing
o Support the Operations team in process auditing and the implementation of staff lists to improve operational efficiency.
Event Management
o Assist the Operations team in event management including speaker deliverables, day-of and onsite coordination, site procurement, and contract management (site and speakers)
Customer Relationship Management and Data Entry
o Input and update data in our CRM

REQUIRED EXPERIENCE:
o Experience in an operations or project management role.
o Experience training in a professional environment.
o Proficient user of Microsoft products, such as Excel, Word, Teams, and Outlook.
o Excellent analytical and organizational skills.
o Exceptionally demonstrated attention to detail.
o Strong interpersonal, communication, and presentation skills.
o Creation and utilization of evaluation tools.
o Degree in instructional design, educational technology, related field, or related field experience in comparable work in an education and training role.
o Experience with learning analytics platforms, data visualization tools, and predictive modeling techniques.
o Familiarity with accessibility standards (e.g., WCAG) and experience optimizing digital content for diverse learner needs.
o Knowledge of SCORM, xAPI (Tin Can API), and/or other e-learning interoperability standards.
PREFERRED EDCUATION, EXPERIENCE, & SKILLS:
o Experience with online learning tools.
o Demonstrated ability to work remotely with autonomy over day-to-day work.
o Proven experience working with Learning Management Systems (LMS), preferably in an educational or corporate training environment.
o Strong understanding of instructional design principles, adult learning theories, and asynchronous learning methodologies.
o Proficiency in LMS administration, configuration, and customization.
o Solid technical skills, including familiarity with HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and SCORM standards.
o Ability to interpret data, identify trends, and make data-driven recommendations.
o Strong communication and collaboration skills with the ability to work effectively across interdisciplinary teams.
o Detail-oriented, organized, and able to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
o Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment and manage multiple priorities effectively.
o Commitment to staying current with emerging trends, technologies, and best practices in e-learning and educational technology.
PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS:
o Ability to perform the essential job functions consistently, safely, and successfully with the ADA, FMLA, and other federal, state, and local standards.
o Must be able to talk, listen, and speak clearly on telephone and through virtual meeting tools.
o Must be able to remain in a stationary position for 75% of the time.
