A community hospital is seeking a CRNA for locum tenens coverage.
Central Georgia is known as the Heart of Georgia, and you can visit the Georgia Aquarium, Centennial Olympic Park, and the Ocmulgee Mounds National Historic Park!
This position is for additional coverage with a schedule of every other week, Sunday 7:00 PM through Friday 7:00 AM, including nightly call beginning Sunday evening. Cases typically start at 8:00 AM Monday through Friday, with most Fridays having no cases or only one. A guaranteed 8 hours per day is provided, with a 25-minute response time for beeper call. Cases include general surgery, eyes, and orthopedic procedures, with a focus on regional block proficiency for orthopedic cases. Other cases involve hernias, biopsies, mass excisions, laparoscopic cholecystectomies, colectomies, and foreign body removals. There is no OB, and the role is autonomous.
