A Corrections facility is seeking a Family Medicine Nurse Practitioner for locum tenens coverage.

The schedule is Monday to Friday, 7:00 AM to 3:00 PM, with the option for 4 ten-hour shifts. The patient population consists of adult men, and the EMR system is paper-based. Required certifications include IM or FM, BLS, WA license, DEA, and COVID vaccination. The role involves treating injuries, acute illnesses, follow-ups, physicals, corrections, complicated chronic care, urgent care, and performing minor procedures. Support staff includes MAs, MDs, and NPs. Credentialing takes 1-2 weeks. The ideal candidate should have psych experience and be comfortable with sutures and injections, though these are not mandatory.
