A hospital is seeking a CRNA for locum tenens coverage.
In Southeastern Alaska, visitors can embark on breathtaking adventures such as glacier trekking in Juneau, whale watching in Sitka, or kayaking through the majestic Inside Passage.
The position involves working a rotating schedule with a call ratio of 1:3.5, five days a week and includes 17 weeks off. The types of cases handled will include thoracic, obstetrics/pediatrics, trauma, critical care, outpatient procedures, orthopedics, and acute cases. Responsibilities include inserting catheters, administering anesthesia, and performing nerve blocks. The facility currently uses Cerner for its electronic medical records but will be transitioning to Meditech. This role requires working independently.
