We are in search of a Director of Nursing - Nurse Practitioner (Licensed in California).Duties and Responsibilities: A true frontrunner who will lead the organizations nursing staff (currently 5 with more on the horizon) and work with our doctors. Plan, develop, organize, implement, evaluate, and direct the nursing activities. Ensure appropriate staffing, hiring, training and supervision of nursing staff Responsible to meet all new admits and conduct their history and physical Prescribe non-psychotropic medications as needed Provide nursing services at the facility when a nurse is out (sick/vacation). Oversee the use of third-party lab, mobile phlebotomist, and LabCorp. Responsible for filling out and submitting EDD SDI paperwork for adult clients/patients. Responsible to meet weekly with each nurse at their assigned facility (facilities are spread throughout Los Angeles) Establish rapport with other departments
