A Geriatrics facility is seeking an Internal Medicine Nurse Practitioner for locum tenens coverage.
The facility is located in Rural Retreat, Virginia.
This position is a one-week role for a Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant, working Monday to Friday, 8 AM to 5 PM, with no call responsibilities. The facility serves geriatric patients, with an average of 20-22 patients per day (~3 per hour). Candidates must have a VA license and DEA certification. Support staff includes an MD (on-site one day per week), a Director of Nursing, administrative staff, LPNs, and CNAs. The EMR systems used are Point Click Care and Gerimed.
