Requirements: Specialty: Addiction MedicineLicense: New MexicoEducation: NP/PA, PMHNPDetails of the Opportunity:We are seeking a highly skilled and compassionate Substance Abuse Practitioner to join our team.As a Substance Abuse Practitioner, you will be responsible for diagnosing and treating mental health conditions in patients with substance abuse disorders under the supervision of an MD psychiatrist. The ideal candidate will have experience in providing Suboxone treatment and be familiar with various methods of substance abuse treatment.If you are a dedicated and compassionate healthcare professional with a passion for helping individuals with substance abuse disorders, we encourage you to apply for this position.Responsibilities:Diagnose and treat mental health conditions in patients with substance abuse disordersProvide Suboxone treatment to patientsCollaborate with a supervising MD psychiatrist to develop treatment plansConduct individual and group therapy sessionsMonitor patient progress and adjust treatment plans as necessaryMaintain accurate and up-to-date patient recordsRequirements:Valid Nurse Practitioner (NP) or Physician Assistant (PA) license in the state of New MexicoCertification as a Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner (PMHNP)Experience in diagnosing and treating mental health conditions in patients with substance abuse disordersFamiliarity with Suboxone treatment and other methods of substance abuse treatmentExcellent communication and interpersonal skillsAbility to work independently and as part of a multidisciplinary teamStrong organizational and time management skillsDates/Schedule:Shift 1: 2 pm-10 pm, Monday to FridayShift 2: 5 pm-8 pm, Monday to FridaySalary/Benefits:NP: $75 per hour, with the option for W2 or 1099 EmploymentAdditional $5 per hour for W2 employmentHRSHA Student Loan Repayment Program401k retirement planAflac benefits75% coverage of family health insuranceOpportunities for professional development and growthIf interested, please respond with the following:1.
