Cancer Network along the east coast that is seeking a Director of Oncology Practice and Education toprovide consultative support and education for 10+ cancer program across 5 states. The role you will play- Provide consultative support focused on quality oncology patient care including the development of standards and metrics to measure and monitor performance, education for new services, and remediation of practice opportunities.- Assists with coordination of evidence-based clinical practice and education initiatives.- Works with Physicians and other leaders to oversee planning and implementation for all CME programs and evaluation of nursing practice policies.- Responsible for effective, efficient clinical operations, and delivery of quality care at medical and radiation oncology programs.- Assess educational needs, design educational activities and evaluate educational outcomes- Provides oversight for development and maintenance of standardized patient treatment plans including chemotherapy orders, plans of care, and patient teaching standards- Establishes systems to improve and enhance patient care.Responsible for the enhancement of practice through education and research at all programs.Participates and leads efforts to develop performance improvement/quality improvement initiatives across sitesAt most 25% travel
