For nearly 35 years,Centennial Medical Plaza, a campus of The Medical Center of Aurora, hasprovided high quality emergency care. We are growing to meet the needs of ourcommunity and will open a full service, 20 bed hospital in the spring of 2021.

Here is some ofwhat you can expect from being an ICURegistered Nurse:

You will perform andoversee care of patients with critical illness or injury utilizing the nursingprocess.
Your role must possessstrong assessment and clinical skills to oversee and care for patients with amultitude of disorders to include; Heart Failure, Respiratory distress, Sepsis,Multisystem Organ Failure, Neurosurgical Procedures, MI, Strokes and otherpatients meeting ICU admissions criteria.
You will excel at thefollowing skills, interpersonal, communication, leadership, time management,critical thinking and decision-making.
You will serve asprimary nurse leading the collaboration of all disciplines for well-coordinatedpatient care.

What qualificationsyou will need:

Graduate of an accredited school of nursing. BSN preferred
Current licensure in the State of Colorado as a Registered Nurse or current active multistate Registered Nurse license
BLS & ACLS Health Care provider
NIHSS, TNCC and/or TCAR preferred
Experience in acute care nursing and ability to work in a stressful and emotional environment preferred
