The Director is designated as the leader for the specified patient care area, the patient population of that area, and assigned staff in order to achieve desired outcomes. This position assumes responsibility and accountability for operations of the nursing unit. Which includes: staff performance, clinical quality, financial performance and patient care during hours of operation.Qualifications:Graduate of a NLN/AACN accredited program in nursing.Bachelors degree in nursing required; Masters degree preferred. 5 years of recent experience within specialty in acute care hospital setting required.Current valid NJ Sate Professional Registered Nurse License.CNOR Certification.Maintains American Heart Association Basic Life Support HCP Certification.
