We provide a comfortable home and high-quality care at a reasonable cost and promote each residents vitality of spirit.ScheduleFulltime (8 hr shift)BenefitsMedical Insurance AetnaDental InsuranceVision Insurance(2) weeks vacation(2) weeks sick time9 - 10 holidaysShort term disability401K plan match up to 4% of earnings after 1 yearResponsibilitiesMinimum 2 year supervisory experience in a hospital, long-term care facility or other related health care facility.Must possess a current, active license, in good standing with the Maryland Board of Nursing to practice as a Registered Nurse in this state.Must possess the ability to make independent decisions when circumstances warrant such action and relate information concerning a residents condition.Must possess the ability to deal tactfully with personnel, residents, family members, visitors, government agencies/personnel, and the general public.Must be knowledgeable of nursing and medical practices and procedures, as well as laws, regulations, and guidelines that pertain to long-term care.Must possess leadership and supervisory ability and the willingness to work harmoniously with and supervise other personnel.Should be energetic and able to treat all employees, residents, and visitors with respect and dignity.Must have good organizational skills and basic computer skills and proficiency in MS Word and OutlookMust be able to handle job responsibilities in accordance with the standards of the Company's Code of Conduct and appropriate professional standard and applicable state/federal laws.
