Adelphi is seeking a Licensed Certified Social Worker-Clinical (LCSW-C) to provide services at a mental health facility in Baltimore, Maryland. The ideal candidate will provide services to residential adolescent boys or girls ages 12 to 18 who experience emotional, behavioral, and learning difficulties.Job Quick Facts: Ref #: BD-580-01 Profession: Allied Health Specialty: Licensed Certified Social Worker-Clinical (LCSW-C) Location: Baltimore, MD Facility Type: Mental Health Residential Treatment Facility Job Type: Contract Duration: Through the end of the calendar year Shift Schedule: - Mon - Fri 8:30-5pm (preferred) - (Unpaid 30 minute lunch break) - Mon - Fri 9a - 5p (would be accepted) - (Unpaid 30 minute lunch break) - (6 or 6:30pm close out at least 1 evening bi-weekly to accommodate family therapy if needed) Start Date: ASAP Rate: $65/hrRequirements: Active MD license Experience working with adolescents (preferred)Responsibilities: Provide services to residential adolescent boys or girls ages 12 to 18 who experience emotional, behavioral, and learning difficulties. Provide clinical case management. Direct individual, group and family therapy. Provide clinical advice and support to a caseload of approximately seven adolescents in a residential treatment center for emotionally disabled adolescents. Demonstrate expertise in understanding the symptoms and treatments for clients with diagnoses which are typically seen in emotionally disturbed adolescents. Work effectively with a treatment team made up of nursing/residential, educational and rehabilitation staff, social workers, psychologist and psychiatrists. Collaborate with the multi-disciplinary team to provide treatment that is family-driven & youth guided. Generate documentation such as treatment plans, progress notes and reports required in a contemporary mental health context. Perform care consistent with the scope of licensure and in accordance with the facility's policies and procedures. Any other duties as assigned.
